D.J. Flynn is Assistant Professor of Political Science in the School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs and Faculty Affiliate at the Center for the Governance of Change at IE University in Madrid. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Program in Quantitative Social Science at Dartmouth College.

He uses experiments and statistics to study how misinformation affects public opinion and political behavior. His methodological interests are in survey and experimental design with particular focus on the measurement of knowledge. 

He teaches courses on political behavior and quantitative methods.
